Adam Curtis Thompson, 32, of Land O Lakes, Florida passed away Sunday, October 23rd at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa.
He was born in Huntington, Indiana and came to Florida in 2002 as a student at Florida College in Temple Terrace. Adam worked as a registered nurse at St. Joseph's hospital for 8 years working with both the MICU and anesthesia teams. He was Christian who loved the Lord and served Him all the days of his life. He was a loving son & brother, beloved friend to many, an avid angler and a record holding basketball player. The role Adam cherished most is that of a devoted husband and father.
He is survived by his wife Stephanie and sons Luke and Wyatt, parents Stan and Jan Thompson of East Strousdburg, PA, brother and family Aaron, Kristin, Molly and Caleb Thompson of Parker, CO, and grandparents Arnold & Rayelda Thompson of East Strousdburg, PA.
Adam was preceded in death by grandparents Paul and Janet Shoap of Chambersburg, PA.
A remembrance of Adam's life will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the Temple Terrace Church of Christ, 8001 Temple Terrace Hwy, Tampa, FL 33637. Visitation will be at 1:00 pm immediately followed by the service at 2:30.
