Albert Royal, 87, died February 20, 2016 under Hospice care at his home in John Knox Village. A native Floridian, he was born in Scanlon and raised in Zephyrhills. He served 20 years in the Air Force and worked another 20 years for National Airlines/Pan Am. He is survived by Maureen, his wife of 38 years; his sons Steve (Kim) and Kent (Kathi); grandchildren, Sean (Mallorie), Sheyanne Padgainii (Artiom), and Stephanie.

A Mason for 65 years, he was a kind and loving man with a smile that lit up the room. He loved to read, enjoyed the out of doors and was an avid and inquisitive gardener.
