Alexandra Renee Deas Diggs "Alex", age 34, passed away November 24, 2013 in Tampa, Florida following an accident.
Alex was born in Tampa on June 30, 1979.
Alex leaves behind "her proudest achievement" - son Ashton as well as her mother and father, Jan and Gary; her sister, Dawn; step brother Brad and his wife Brandi; step sisters and their husbands, Laura and Adam and Allison and JC; and many other family and friends who will miss her very much.
Ashton said he will always remember "how she (Alex) wanted to help me with anything I was doing, even helping me play video games when she wasn't that good at it!" She was like that with everyone, always offering to help.
An avid chef, Alex also expressed her love through the delicious dishes she eagerly made for family and friends. Her family will especially miss her fabulous 'Pot Stickers and Mac n Cheese'.
However, one of Alex's most endearing traits reminded others of her grandmother Cecil - both were extremely forgetful and haphazard. You always new when Alex was around because she usually left a trail wherever she went!
A visitation will take place from 1-2 PM Saturday, November 30th followed by a 2:00 PM memorial service at MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 N Florida Ave, Tampa.A celebration of Alex's life will be held at the family home following the remembrance.
