Mr. Alfred Riddle Jr., 92, a longtime resident of Tampa and formerly of Jacksonville, FL passed away January 3, 2009 after a brief illness. Alfred was a US Army World War II Veteran, active member of Tampa First Church of the Nazarene and a past member of the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene in Jacksonville. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Mildred; daughters, Brenda Koehler and Barbara Grooms; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 9, beginning at 11:00 AM at First Church of the Nazarene, 5902 N. Himes Ave., Tampa. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Friday at 2:30 p.m. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Church of the Nazarene, Tampa in Alfred's memory.
