Alva Doyle Carlton, 64, of Tampa passed away Friday July 20, at home with his loving family and under the care of LifePath Hospice (Blue Team). He was preceded in death by his mother Juanita Smith, and his brothers Robert and Raymond Carlton. He is survived by his loving wife Diana; son Michael of Tampa; daughter Lori, her spouse Richard Bowman, their children Alex and Jesse of O'Brien, FL; Stepsons, John Anthony of Seattle, WA and Christopher Lawrence of Houston, TX; Sister-in-laws Pat Carlton of Tampa and VeLinda Carlton of Temple Terrace; many nieces and nephews, family and friends. A barbeque to celebrate his life will take place at 3:00 P.M. Saturday Sept. 1 at the family home in Tampa.
