Dr. Andrew Joseph Meyerriecks, 85, of Tampa Florida passed away March 9, 2009. He served with United States Army during World War II and graduated from University of Tennessee and Harvard. Dr. Meyerriecks was a Biology Professor at University of South Florida from 1961 until his retirement in 1989. He is survived by his wife, Norma; children and extended family. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 14th from 2-3 PM at MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 North Florida Ave followed by a celebration of his life at 3:00 PM.
