Annette Messier-Emmons of Largo, FL passed on to eternal life on February 15, 2023, at the age of 92. She was born in Worcester, MA on September 15,1930 to Alfred and Blanche Gamache. Her family moved to Leominster, MA in 1939 and she attended St. Cecilia's Grammar School and graduated from St. Bernard's High School in 1948.

She married Norman Joseph (Joe) Messier in 1951 and they raised their family in Fitchburg, MA.  Annette worked as the Office Manager at Woodcome Insurance Agency for most of her career. They moved to Ft. Pierce, FL in 1982, enjoying an early retirement, and were among some of the first residents at Spanish Lakes Country Club Village where she lived happily for over 30 years.

Annette and Joe celebrated 40 years of marriage until he passed away in 1992. She remarried Edward John Emmons in 2001 and they shared fifteen happy years together until he passed away in 2015.

She was an active member the Methodist Church in Largo, FL, part of the choir and cherished her church family. She loved to sing and was often part of the musicals performed at the club house.  Her one true passion was golf and she enjoyed the game either on the green or on TV. Annette was a full-fledged New England Patriots fan and watched every gave cheering on her team.

She is survived by three wonderful daughters and a son-in-law, Gary and Norma Johnson of Largo, FL, Susan Clark of Littleton, NH and Karen Nikitas of Tolland, CT.  Six grandchildren (Jason Nikitas, Joshua Clark, Melissa Jellison, Lauren Johnson, Kara Johnson, Kristen Sivillo) and ten beautiful great grandchildren.

A graveside memorial will be held at St. Joseph's cemetery in Fitchburg, MA.
