Arnold "Arnie" Heitz, 88 of Tampa, Florida, passed away October 8th, 2021. He is survived by his lovingwife Lena who he was married to for 66 years. Arnie graduated from Ithaca College in New York and was a teacher for Hillsborough County Schools in Tampa for 38 years. He was teaching at Leto High School when he retired at the age of 55. He was blessed with three daughters, Marylee, Heidi and Linda. He has six grandchildren; Brian, Amy, Scott, Elise, Garrett and Brittany and a great granddaughter Zoey. Arnie and Lena enjoyed visiting Tarpon Springs together. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed sports and loved his family. He will be greatly missed by his family until they are all reunited again inHeaven.
