Artis Knight, age 70, of Tampa, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2024, in Tampa Florida. Born on September 8, 1954, Artis was a beloved person who brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.

Artis had a passion for music, with Marvin Gaye and similar artists often filling his world with melody. He found comfort and happiness in playing his keyboard and drawing with colored pencils, showcasing his creativity.
Technology also captivated him, as he enjoyed spending time on his iPad and loved wearing his smart watch, always staying connected and engaged.

Known for his playful nature, Artis was a master of jokes and always had a way of making those around him smile. His warmth and infectious spirit were felt by everyone he encountered. He will be remembered for his ability to brighten any room and for the deep love he shared with his family and friends.

Artis is survived by his older brother, Earnest Knight, who was a constant source of support and care. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of Artis' life will be held at Hillsborough County Developmental Center where he resided at a later date.
