Our beloved Bailey Ry Watson, of Tampa, FL, passed away unexpectedly on January 28, 2022 at the tender age of 19. She graduated from the Florida Youth Challenge Academy in Starke, Florida in December, 2019.
Bailey was an ardent athlete who excelled in cheerleading, basketball, Tae Kwon Do, soccer, volleyball, softball, and track & field. She was a dedicated member of the Tampa Trailblazers Track Club, Track Stars Track Club, and the Wharton High School Wildcats Track & Field team. She was a loyal University of Florida Gators fanatic! Bailey was very compassionate. She assisted children with disabilities, taking great pleasure in escorting them to their classes and helping them with special projects. That compassion extended to animals. Volunteering at horse ranches and animal rescue shelters brought Bailey much joy. She absolutely loved riding horses. Although she loved all animals, she favored dogs and reptiles. As with most teenagers, she enjoyed connecting with friends and family over social media. Listening to music, singing, and dancing were among her favorite pastimes. She aspired to become a massage therapist.
She leaves to cherish her memory: parents, Brian Watson, Allison Lee Myrick (Dennis), Janeen Watson; grandparents, Priscilla McDonald, Bob Williamson (Fern), Jo Ellen Myrick; siblings, Brixton Watson, Janissa Robinson (Devante), Yadi Lee Belt, Brandon Alton Myrick; nieces, Charlie Rose Robinson and Cairo Eliyanah Robinson, Jaliya; nephew, Leland; aunts and uncles, Wade Watson, Wendy Watson, Jason Watson, Trisha Glaccum (Mark), Charlotte Young, Tina Myrick (Chris), Christy Jones, Sean Myrick,; cousins, Tealen Watson, Megan Watson, Yuriah A.
