Barbara Jean Carter, 85, of Tampa was called to her heavenly Father's side Tuesday. Barbara married Russell C Carter July 19, 1945 and they lived in Jacksonville, FL before relocating to Tampa in 1970. Barbara excelled in her professional life while working as a realtor for Tam-Bay Realty. She received multiple accolades for her sales volume and was always known for her honesty and ability. She was a loving Christian wife and mother and was adored by all whose lives she touched. Barbara was a wonderful asset to each church Russell pastored and was an active member of the congregations. Barbara is survived by three children: Jean Sinnett and Bob Carter of Winter Haven, FL and Jim Carter of Tampa, FL. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held at 1pm and a service at 2pm both at Sheldon Road Baptist Church on July 28th. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Barbara's name to Sheldon Road Baptist Church.
