Barbara Elaine Grau, 81, Tampa, FL, went to be with her Lord on 5 November, 2017, after a lengthy illness. Barb was born on March 4th, 1936 in Omaha, Nebraska to Morris I. and Mary (Adams) Loder. As the most senior class-member, Barbara Graduated from Memphis State University with a degree in Counseling in 1992. She volunteered as a paramedic and was instrumental in standing up the Algonquin LITH Emergency Ambulance Service in 1974, which she served on from inception until 1981. Barb was a loving mother of two sons, Richard M. Grau (Laura Wurster) and Andrew J. Grau (Debbie Strecker Grau); in addition to three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Barb is also survived by two brothers, Morris (Lucy) Loder, Jr., and James (Debbie) Loder. Barb dedicated her life to helping others and will be missed by all her family and friends.
