Bernice M. Harman, 83, died September 24, 2011. She was born in Newton Ohio to Robert and Phoebe Hartman. She is survived by daughter Kathy of Jackson Ohio, sons Tom and William of Tampa, brother Robert and grandsons William and Alan. Bernice, a world traveler was certainly adventurous. She flew a Cessna airplane in the 1950's. Growing up in Ohio, she transplanted her family to Tampa Florida in 1967 where they could enjoy the warmth and sunshine year round. She was an independent person with a free spirit who raised three thankful children. She worked for General Motors, James Haley VA Hospital, the US Postal Service and Guardian Security, retiring at the age of 75. Anyone who knew Bernice enjoyed her quirky sense of humor and "I can do anything" attitude. We will miss her generosity, passion for life, love and laughter. Rest in peace.
