Betsie A. Everett, 80, of Lutz passed away at home on August 4, 2015, following a long battle with ALS. Mrs. Everett was born in 1934, in Detroit, MI, to Irene and Donald McKenzie. She attended Wayne State University in Michigan. She worked at Bell Telephone Company in Detroit. She relocated to Lutz, Florida in 1983. Mrs. Everett was preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Everett. Left to cherish her memory are her brother Donald McKenzie of Detroit; her sons Andrew Everett of Valrico and Scott Everett of Lutz; and numerous stepsons, nieces, and nephews. Known for her quilting skills and her devotion to TOPS and the Lutz Area Women's Club, she will be missed by all.

Family will receive friends from 2-3 PM Saturday, August 15th at MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 N. Florida Ave, Tampa, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 3 PM.
