Betty Freda Barr, 97, of Dade City, FL, passed on October 1, 2023.

Born in Detroit on April 26, 1926 and proceeded in death by her parents Betsy and George Clarke of Novi, MI. Her son Ronald Lee passed one month before her.

Betty loved her job as head nurse at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital until retirement in 1988.

She enjoyed Square and Round Dancing, traveling, reading, and solving crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, R. Bruce Barr; her daughter Vicki (Jim) Byers, son Donald (Teri) Stiles, Daughter-in-law Ann Stiles;  Stepchildren Sylvia (Greg) Laurenceson, Rodney Barr, V. Lynn (Billy) Barr, Michael (Rosaline) Barr; Grandchildren Bradley (Nora) Stiles, Brandy (Roy) Townsend, Danny Tuckfield, Logan Stiles (Chelsea), Cameron Stiles (Sierra), Courtney (Kevin) Gill, Great-grandchildren Ethan Townsend, Rhys Townsend, Bryn Townsend, Grayson Stiles, Piercen Stiles, Hudson Stiles, Kannon Gill and Cloie Gill.
