Mrs. Blanca Nieves Fernandez, 79, of West New York, New Jersey died peacefully on February 24th, 2017 at Melech Hospice House in Temple Terrace, Florida. She was born May 23, 1937 in Mata, Cuba. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Ricardo Fernandez Llosa of West New York , New Jersey and her two sons , Waldo Fernandez of Flanders, New Jersey, and Ricardo Fernandez Jr. of Tampa, Florida.
A visitation will take place at MacDonald Funeral Home, Tampa from 9:30 AM-Noon Saturday, March 4, 2017. A funeral Mass will follow at 1:30 PM Saturday, March 4th at Light of Christ Catholic Church, 2176 Marilyn St, Clearwater, FL 33756.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all of their friends, extended family members and to the Melech Hospice House for their support in her final days.
