Bruce E. Mackey died Fri. March 24th 2023, peacefully at his home. He was 90 years old. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Loyce Mackey. His remaining survivor is Kathleen Packard, cousin, who was like a sister to him in their early years.

Born and educated as a Certified Public Accountant in Nebraska, his career was in the insurance industry in upper management.

Bruce was an avid fly fisherman, and a generous philanthropist, serving Moffitt through his role on the their Advisor Council, University of South Florida Foundation, University of Nebraska Foundation and various other non-profit organizations. His selflessness positively benefited those around him.

He will be buried next to his wife, Loyce, Fri. April 14th at 9:30 at Florida National Cemetery.
