Catherine Zellner Solomon, 84, of Tampa passed away May 6, 2010. She was a foster mother to over 200 children and devoted her life to children. Catherine is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Richard L. Solomon, Sr; daughter, Joyce Davidson; sons, Richard L. Solomon, Jr. and Charlton Solomon; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. The family will receive friends Monday evening, May 10th at MacDonald Funeral Home from 7-9PM. A funeral service will take place 10 AM Tuesday at West Broad St. Baptist Church where Catherine was a longtime member. Interment will follow at 2:30 PM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
