Mr.Charles John Herring, 58, passed away Feb 1, 2006 at James A Haley V.A. Hospital, Tampa. He was born in Weehawken, NJ, he resided in Tampa for over 30 years. Charlie was an U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and a Purple Heart recipient. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Herring of Tampa. Survivors include his brothers, John (Jennifer) of Lutz and Robert of Tampa and sister Judy Heid of Tampa; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will take place 11:00 AM Tuesday, Feb 7, 2006at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell with full military honors.
