Charles "Chuck" Summers, 62, of St. Petersburg passed away July 21st. He was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia and graduated from Marshall University. Chuck was a brilliant teacher of chemistry and physics. He loved his students and enjoyed trips to Grad Night at Disney, camping, and even trips abroad to Greece with students. He was extremely enthusiastic about learning and sharing his knowledge with others. He was predeceased by his loving wife Mary. He is survived by his mother Mickie Summers, sister Sheryl Summers and her husband Gary Mostert, his brother Jack Summers and his wife Angie, nieces Heather Ewing (Rob), Robin Vancavage (Jeff), Tina Clark (Mike), and nephew Brian Summers (Renee). He was also fortunate to have the love of many friends including Mary West and numerous colleagues from Admiral Farragut Academy and St. Petersburg College. A service for friends and family will be held August 16th at 3 pm at Admiral Farragut Academy.
