Mr. Chester V. Kata, 83, of Riverview formerly of Buffalo, NY passed away Nov 5, 2007. He was preceded in death by his son, Ron Kata. Chester is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Lois Kata; daughter-in-law, Bertha Kata and granddaughter, Elizabeth Kata. Chester served with the US Army during World War II and was a member of Pvt. Leonard Jr. Post #6251, Cheektowaga, NY. A memorial service will take place 1:00 PM Saturday at the chapel of MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 N Florida Ave, Tampa, the family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
