Clifton Baker, was born in Baltimore, MD on November 24, 1922, and passed away on April 28, 2011 at Carrollwood Care Center in Tampa. He lived in Florida most of his retired life. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Don, Norman and his sister, Betty. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Carol; his sons, Cliff and Norman Baker, daughter-in laws, Carol and Allie;two grandchildren, three great grandchildren and his step-son, Tony DeClemente .Clifton served in the U.S. Army for 22 years during WWII andretired as Sergeant First Class. He was an anti-tank gunner and a recepient of theGood Conduct Medal. After the Army, Cliftonworked for the U. S. Postal Service as a letter carrier and later retired. He was a member of the American Legion, an was an avid golfer since he was a child. Funeral services will take place with full military honors at 11 AM Friday at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
