IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Clifvonna Yolanda
Smith-Johnson
November 30, 1970 – January 20, 2024
Clifvonna Yolanda Smith-Johnson was born November 30,1970 in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. On January 20,2024 Vonna was called home to be one of the beautiful flowers in the Lord's garden. Vonna graduated from Fairview High school in Camden, Arkansas. She shortly after enlisted and became a proud soldier of the U.S Army in 1988. Vonna had a personality, smile, and laugh that could light up the room with dimples that could steal anyone's attention. She always went above and beyond for her husband, children, family and friends like no other but most importantly, her grandchildren who were her world. Vonna could always be found cooking, crafting, gardening or canning. Most importantly Vonna had such a love for the Lord that she began her journey into preaching by becoming an ordained Minister ( Minister Vonn). Her favorite book in the bible was John, the Disciple whom Jesus loved. Paul was her favorite Apostle. Vonna's perspective was if someone that was so hell bent on destroying Christianity could change, why couldn't we. Through all the egregious things Paul did Jesus still loved him, so surely he could love us as well. In the midst of it all, through all her trials and tribulations in life, Vonna never lost her faith. Towards the end of her life Vonna fought her hardest through her pain and suffering and in the end she found the peace that surpasses understanding. As we grieve not for Vonna but the loss of Vonna in our lives please remember the beauty and love that she gave, but also that fierce and feisty personality she had. Please remember the joy and the laugher and the happy moments shared and that she is still smiling upon us waiting for the time we are all gathered again with her in heaven.
Clifvonna was preceded in death by her Grandparents Clara Smith, Willie Mae Smith,
