Connie "MAMA" Fojaco, age 81, passed away on June 14, 2025, in Tampa, Florida. Born on October 9, 1943, in Dunbar, West Virginia, Connie brought warmth and laughter into the lives of all who knew her.

Connie was a spitfire with a great sense of humor and a heart as big as the sky. Known affectionately by many as "MAMA," she had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel like family. She never met a stranger and was always ready to lend a hand or share her thoughts—whether you asked for them or not. Her honesty was refreshing, her compassion boundless, and her presence unforgettable.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 15 years, Ray Fojaco; Alicia Fojaco; her nephew Robert Jorgensen; niece Linda Jorgensen; and a long list of friends and "adopted children" who cherished her deeply. Connie was preceded in death by her beloved son, Billy Cummings.

Connie's legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched with her generosity, humor, and fierce love. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 21, 2025, at 03:00 PM at VFW Post 424 105 West Broad St. We will be gathering to celebrate Connie, there will be food provided, please do not bring anything, just good stories about Connie.
