Cruz Soto, 83, of Tampa, passed away April 18, 2015. He was born in Culebra, Puerto Rico, in 1931 to parents Vicente and Juana. He was one of the best left hand first base baseball players.He worked at the Water and Power Authority in St. Croix for 32 years. He is survived by his wife Amelina; children, Crucita, Jorge, Efrain, Angel, Neyda, Cruz Jr, Luis, Osvaldo and Jeyson; step-son Orlando; 28 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; two brothers and five sisters. Funeral service will take place 12 Noon Friday at MacDonald Funeral Home 10520 N Florida Ave, Tampa. Burial to follow. The family will received friends Friday prior from 10 AM until time of service.
