Daniel A. Bush, 62 of Tampa was called to eternal rest on March 28, 2012 under hospice care after battling cancer. Danny was born February 19, 1949 in Lowville, New York. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and proudly sered his country in the U.S. Army. Danny was a former Commander of VFW Post 424 in Tampa and volunteered for many years at the VA Hospital in Tampa working with the patients as needed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Anselm and Margaret Bush and survived by his daughter, Stephanie of Brooklyn, New York; and sisters, Nina and Karen (Bernard). A memorial service and celebration of Danny's life will be held at a later date. Graveside services with full miltary honors will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Monday, April 9th at 11:00 AM. Donations in his memory are requested to be made to LifePath Hospice or James A. Haley VA Hospital, Tampa.
