Danny E. Hicks 65, of Tampa passed away April 26, 2016 at his residence after a 7 month battle with cancer. He was born in Pell City, Alabama and moved to the area in 1963. Danny was a retired plumber and a US Army Vietnam Decorated Veteran, 69-70 Americal Division F Troop 17th Calvary. He loved camping, fishing, canoeing, and his dog Oreo. He also loved to ride his motorcycle when he was well and able. Danny is survived by his wife of 42 years, Judith Hicks of Tampa; sisters, Anna Carlson of Tampa and Jennie Votto of Brookfield, WI; uncle, Gene Griffin of Signal Mtn., TN. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Graveside services to be held at Lawley's Chapel, Sterrett, Alabama at a later date.Thanks to all the people at LifePath Hospice for their help and support during his illness.
