Darlene Esther Brownlee, aged 80, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026. Born on December 27, 1945, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as Darlene Esther Lechner, she later moved to Tampa, Florida, where she met the love of her life, Virgil Brownlee. The two were married and later blessed with a son.

Darlene was a deeply devoted wife and mother who cherished family gatherings above all else. She was known for her creative spirit, showcasing a remarkable talent for arts and crafts, as well as her profound affection for animals. For years, Darlene delighted in her beloved morning routine, gathering with family and friends at the local Cuban sandwich shop to share coffee, breakfast, and laughter. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Darlene is survived by her grandson Kyle, her granddaughter Andrea, her daughter in law Lynda and her son William. A celebration of life will be held in the coming weeks to honor her memory.
