Darroll Eveland, Sr.74, of Colquitt, GA. passed away on Jun. 2, 2021 He was born in Paris, IL, but spent most of his life in Tampa Bay. He worked at Hillsborough Community College and was a member of the Tampa First Church of the Nazarene. Darroll was predeceased by his wife Sandra, his parents, Harlan and Melba, and grandson Kaiden. He is survived by His children, Darroll Eveland Jr., Christa Bartell (Chad Dougherty), Dameon Eveland (Kimberly), Ian Eveland (Cassandra Dowdy), and Amanda Eveland (William "Billy" Kern); siblings, Dale Eveland (Julie), Robert "Danny" Eveland (Debbie), Debbie Miller (Billy); grandchildren, Brittany Irish, Blaine Bartell, Alexis Burkley, Kaitlyn Brown, Gia Eveland, Veda Dowdy, Kadaus Eveland, and Jada Eveland; great-grandsons, Josiah Ortiz, and Jesse James Brown, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends Thursday, June10thfrom 6-8 pm at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 N. Florida Ave. Funeral service will take place at 1:30 pm Friday, June11th at Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to cover the families' travel expenses.
