After graduating with an MBA, David gained corporate experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Johnson & Johnson. He then joined Marcus & Millichap (M & M) in the Fort Lauderdale office, where he had been working to present as a Commercial Real Estate broker (First Vice President), having been with the firm for 27 years, representing private and institutional clients on investment property sales throughout the Eastern United States.
David was preceded in death by his father, John E. Gant and is survived by his wife of 23 years, Loren, his son, Nate, almost 15 years old (Fort Lauderdale), and his brother, Paul, his sister-in-law Fran, and their daughter Ava (Maryland), as well as his mother, Mary Judith (Tennessee), and his Uncle Robert and Aunt Betty (Tennessee).
