David Porter Sprawls, Jr., 68, of Tampa passed away at January 17, 2013 at the Melech Hospice House in Temple Terrace, Florida. He was born in Tunica, Mississippi and was a resident of Tampa since 2011 coming from Chicago Illinois to live with his daughter. He was a Christian. He was preceded in death by his parents, Savannah Sprawls and David P. Sprawls, Sr. and step-father, McKinley Miller. He leaves to mourn, his daughter Katrina W Duncan of Tampa Fl; five grandchildren, Steven, Danielle, Kyeisha of Tampa Fl, Tia of Salem, Oregon, Desyier of Chicago Illinois; two great granddaughters, Synaii Nakia and Naoko Kalia; six sisters, Lemira, Rubby, Virginia, Ludella, Diane, Patranella all of Illinos; three brothers, Marshall, Charles of Illinois, Nachee of Washington D.C. and ahost of nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesdayfrom 6-7 PM at MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 N Florida Ave, Tampa, Fl. Further services and burial will take place in Chicago, Illinois.
