Mrs.Lorene McQuerter Todd Stafford, 94, of Tampa went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ for 62 years. Lorene was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Fausta McQuerter; brother, Loryn McQuerter; husbands, Charles Todd and Justin Stafford; grandson, Hal McMillan; and grandson in law, Greg Owenby. She is survived by her daughters, Lyn (Jack) Gay and Carolyn (Mac) McMillan; grandchildren, Cheryl (Mike) Wilson, Jeff (Malin) Gay, Tim (Sheri) Gay, Todd (Natalie) Mead, Chris Owenby, and Andrea McMillan; great-grandchildren, Megan (Jay) Wineinger, Brooke Wilson, Peter Samuelson, Kristen, Evan , Kailey and Carter Gay, Michael, Mason, and Madison Mead Taylor and Bracken Owenby, Zoe McMillan; nieces and nephews, Kent, Anne, Neal, and Greg McQuerter and Reba Brown. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 11:00 am at the Temple Terrace Church of Christ. Inurnment will follow at a later date in Rogersville, MO. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Florida College in her memory.
