Deborah Ann Criswell Tate
TAMPA, FL — After an extended illness, Deborah Ann Criswell Tate, 66, outran her family and friends to the Father's House on Saturday, June 16, 2018 surrounded by her family and friends.
Deborah is preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Sue Criswell. She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 46 years, Randy Tate, her three children: Jeff (Amy Lee) Tate, Heather (Rafael) Alvarez, Bobby (Ashley) Tate and nine grandchildren, who she absolutely adored: Kaylin Tate, Annlee Tate, Ashton Windham, Maryella Tate, Elianna Tate, Elijah Alvarez, Juliana Alvarez, Knox Tate, and Lulabeth Tate (to be born in a couple of weeks and who she was looking forward to meeting). She is also survived by her sister Sandi (Ray) Hecksher, a niece, nephews, countless cousins, aunts and uncles, and friends who she loved very much.
Deborah would like to let you know that her work here is done. She received a call, a sort of an offer you can't refuse, for an appointment from which she will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time. Job security is exactly 110 percent. Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place, custom designed by her Heavenly Father, where she will be enjoying time with family who have already arrived, plenty of dancing, reading, working word-searches and, of course, worshiping her Savior to her heart's content. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed. Food is delicious, and you never gain an ounce. She left detailed instructions for her husband and children to celebrate her mission here, which has now been completed. Low adherence to this instruction will not be tolerated.
We want to let her know about the rich, indelible impact she made on all of our lives. We will remember her smile, her beautiful laugh, her warm embrace, her deep love for life, family and friends. She worked hard throughout all of her life and fought hard up until the very end. She made a difference in the lives of many and leaves a lasting legacy through her family and friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Private Graveside Celebration of Life Service will take place on her 67th birthday, Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 11:00 am, at The Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Ave. Tampa, FL 33610.
