Debrah S. Garrand Pennington, 52, of St. Petersburg, passed away Friday, February 16, 2007. Funeral service (niche side) will be held 12 Noon Thursday, Feb. 22 at the Memorial Park Cemetery. Debbie was born August 13, 1954 in Ilion, N.Y. to the late Walter and Elaine Garrand. She graduated from Oneida High School in Oneida N.Y. She moved to St. Pete in 1986 and attended St. Pete Junior College and became a Registered Medical Assistant. She was a published poet.She is survived by her husband of8 years Steve Pennington; brother Mark Garrand and partner Jack Loomis of St. Pete; brother Thomas Garrand and wife Dee of St.Pete; sister Jill Jones and husband Jesse of Evansville, Ind.; sister Diana Garrand of Belleair Bluffs; sister Patricia Cochran of St. Pete; and nine nephews, four nieces and one great nephew; and special friends Linda Frappier and David Russell of St.Pete. In lieu of flowerssend memorial contributions to The American Cancer Society or The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast.
