Delma Lorraine Glover, 92, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2023, in Tampa, Florida. She was born in Bushnell, Florida on November 13, 1930, and resided in Tampa all of her adult life, and was a long time member of Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife and devoted mother who was loved in return and will be forever missed. Delma is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Dean Glover; and survived by her children- Glenda Hall (Dan), Alana Vanater (Steve), Cynthia Sclavakis (Jim), Darren Glover (Elizabeth), her grandchildren- Carie Hall (Scott), Alexander Sclavakis (Allison), Ashley Sclavakis, Nicholas Sclavakis (Beatriz), Riley Glover, Aubrey Glover, and numerous great grandchildren.

Throughout her life, Delma worked many jobs, mostly as a secretary, but the job she loved the most and never considered a job at all, was being a mother and wife, and spending time with her family. Delma cultivated many true and wonderful friendships that lasted a lifetime. She loved music and poetry and was blessed with a remarkable memory. She was often teased for being an encyclopedia of useless facts, and she reveled in that. At Thanksgiving she recited a poem she recalled from elementary school. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and loved having the house decorated in lights and being surrounded by family. Her family possesses many wonderful memories that will keep her near in their hearts.
