Dewey Gary Wooten, 63, of Tampa, Florida passed away June 28, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Asheville, NC, he served with United States Marines during Vietnam and was a telephone contractor. He is survivedby his fiancee, Rebecca Hoffman of Tampa; daughter, Michele Long of Leicester, NC; grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew and Ryan, all of Leicester, NC; great grandchildren, Emily Ann and Jackson Ty of Leicester, NC; brother, John Brock and his wife Laura Brock of Lexington, NC; sister, Deborah Brock of Downey California; and two very special aunts, Vivien Felker of N.C. and Mary Jo Fore of Arden, NC. Private memorial services will take place at a later date.
