Donna Cook Reece, 66, of Tampa passed away on June 10th from complications due to ongoing medical issues.

A native of Birmingham, Alabama, where she lived most of her life, Donna moved to Tampa in 2010. An alumna of Auburn University and the University of Alabama, Birmingham, she was a retired nurse with a career spanning over 35 years. Among her friends, Donna was known for her infectious sense of humor, which she expressed in a series of short stories published on Facebook.

Donna is survived by her husband, Erik, and their feline child, Sebastian.

A funeral service will be held at St Clement's Episcopal Church on Friday, June 28th, at 10:00am.
