Dores was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on October 26th, 1950. The family relocated to the Tampa/Lutz FL area in 1959.

Dores was employed by Clothworld (Northgate FL) for 25 years. She then worked for the United States Postal Service for over 30 plus years until the time of her passing. In Dores spare time, she was an active animal advocate and had a cat sanctuary that she dearly loved.

She was proceeded in death by Clara Margaret Jones (Mother) Marvin Dale Jones (Brother), Forrest A. Jones (Father), Harold Hilton (Fiancé).Survived by her siblings: Forrest Calvin Jones (Texas), Kathern Jones, Forrest Anthony Jones, and wife Bobbie Jones (Tampa) Nieces/Nephew: Lynnette Jones (Texas), Fallon Dominique and husband Burnelle Dominique (Louisiana), Danielle Jones, Forrest A Jones II (FL). Great Nieces: Kensley Clark (Texas), Alissa Dominique, Teresa Dominique, Ruth Dominique (Louisiana).

Funeral services will be held at McDonald's Funeral Home - 10520 N Florida Ave, Tampa FL 33612. Viewing - Friday, September 1st, from 6 PM to 8 PM. Services - Saturday, September 2nd at 11AM with a graveside service at Lutz cemetery.
