Mr Edgar L. Colon 61, of Tampa passed away April 30, 2011 at Melech Hospice House in Temple Terrace, Florida. He was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, raised in New York and moved to Tampa in 2003. Edgar was presently working for the Hyatt Regency at Rocky Point, Tampa. He was preceded in death by his brother, Eddie and sister, Diana. He is survived by his son, Edgar L. Colon, Jr.; daughters, Julisa Colon, Lisie Colon (Kevin Blanding) and Cristal Andrews (James); former wife, Millie Torres; brothers, Juan Colon (Ana), Angel Colon (Margie) and Anthony Colon; sisters, Awilda Colon (Jaime), Migdalia Colon and Janice Colon; ten grandchildren; several cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Edgar was loved and will be missed by everyone he knew. The family will receive friends Monday, May 2nd from 4-8 pm at the chapel of MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 North Florida Ave, Tampa.
