Mr. Edlon Bolton, "Coop" Cooper, 63, of Tampa passed away Dec 16, 2007 at Melech Hospice House, Temple Terrace. He was a member of Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Coop was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Flora; son, Edlon Jr. (Mary Jane); daughters, Ligia Grams (Tim), Gloria Meyers (Jim), Mariza Melton (David) all of Tampa; six grandchildren; five brothers, Wesley, Hennessey, Vessie, Monty and Emery; sister, Gloria Jackson all of Utila, Honduras; and nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate Coop's life will take place 3:00 PM Thursday at the chapel of MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 N. Florida Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to LifePath Hospice.
