Mr. Edson R.  "Eddie" Snider, 90, passed away January 25, 2009. Edson was a house painter before becoming an Inspector for Curtis Wright during the 1940's. Later, he worked as a farmer and was a custodian for Southwest Licking Schools in Ohio. He moved to Tampa in 1972 and worked at Good Samaritan Hospital as the Head of Housekeeping. He was preceded in death by his son Neal, Parents Charles and Bessie, brothers Lee and Charles. He is survived by his wife Esther of 67 years; daughter Peggy Keene (Ken); Daughter in law Nancy Snider of Ohio; Grandchildren Tina Keene, Nick Snider (Maria) of Indiana and Tim Keene (Samantha); Great grandchildren, Emma and Jacob Keene and Rebecca Snider. A memorial service will take place 4pm Sunday, Feb 8, at Discovery Christian Church, 10902 N. Armenia Ave. Tampa. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Memorial contributions may be made to the church in his memory.
