On Friday, October 11, 2019, Edwin Jimenez, a loving husband and father to 3 kids passed away at the age of 72. Edwin was born on September 20, 1947 in Cayey, Puerto Rico to Catalino Jimenez and Virginia Ayala. He served in the United States Army and fought in the Vietnam war. On December 7, 1971 he married Carmen Jimenez. They raised 3 kids, Samuel, Marisol and Lilian Jimenez. Edwin had a passion for music and spending time with family. He enjoyed the chicken fights in Puerto Rico and agriculture. He loved playing dominoes and enjoyed watching western movies. He was known for his loving spirit and always was so welcoming and you could count on him for anything you needed.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 15th from 4-8 pm at MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 N. Florida Ave, Tampa, FL 33612. A Catholic funeral service will take at 6:30 pm Tuesday at the funeral home chapel.

Interment withfull military honors will take place at 1:30 pm Wednesday at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
