Eloise Betty Lou Bodden Carlton was born December 20, 1943 in Cayman Brac, Cayman Islands to John and Ena Bodden. She was the youngest of 4 girls and is survived by her brother, John Bodden, her sister-in-law Carol Bodden, her son Addison Carlton, III, daughter-in-law Claudia Carlton, grand daughter Emily Cartlon, her daughter Ashley Carlton, son-in-law Noslen Morejon and grandson Gabriel Morejon and many nieces and nephews. She came to the United States in 1951 where she first went to Key West and then Port Arthur, Texas and finally to Tampa, Florida where she would end up calling home in the end. She graduated from Chamberlain High School in 1962. She got married in June of 1968 and had her first born son in August of 1971 and later had a daughter in April of 1984. She spent a lot of her years as a home maker and later went to work as a cashier at different grocery stores, spending her longest time as a cashier at Publix. She enjoyed signing and being involved with the church for many years. She loved to decorate and host parties for church functions. She loved her kids and her family more than anything and she was a very loving and caring mother. After watching her kids grow up and making their own families she was able to go peacefully with the lord on January 27th, 2020.
