Obituary

Enedina Maria Brauer, joined her husband, Roman Conrad Brauer in Heaven November 20, 2012.
Born to Andrea Lagatta and Carmela DeCarlo Lagatta July 3, 1920 in Busi Sul Turino, later settled in Pescara, Italy. She immigrated to the United States with her mother, joining her father in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
She was a bookkeeper for the family business; graduated from Downer College, Milwaukee, WI; and was employed by Wood Wisconsin Veteran's Hospital.
She met Roman Brauer through mutual tennis partners and was married June 4, 1947 at St. Rita's Catholic Church. Busy raising four children: Louise Dietz, Carlo Brauer, Claire Kowall, and Lucy McNamee; she found time to prepare gourmet meals for family, friends, and those in need. She was a talented seamstress, and created exquisite needlework. A devout Catholic, she was active in charitable organizations. Those who met her remarked on her cheerful demeanor and love of life.
She is survived by her four children; Grandchildren, Christine Thayer, Alberta Williams, Robin Morgan, and Andrea Phillips Bowles; great-grandchildren, Roman Scott Williams, and Jacobson Riley Roarke Young.
Mrs. Brauer will be interred at Holy Cross Mausoleum following a memorial Mass at St. Rita's Catholic Church, and visitation and final prayer at Holy Cross Chapel at a later date.
