Mrs. Enid Verbena (Johnson) Peterkin, 84, of Land O' Lakes, transitioned from this life on September 13, 2015.Widow of Fitzgerald G. Peterkin, he is survived by her sons, Donovan, David and Dwayne, and by her daughters, Geri, Pauline and Maureen; Grandchildren, Sean, Gavin, Toni-Anne, Marcus, Rennie, Tyler, Calandra, Xavier Great Grandson, Sean, Jr. and Great Granddaughter Nicaury; Daughters-in-Law, Diane and Amalia; family members in Canada, Carmen Aitkins and Victorine (Cutie) Harvey.She was born in St. Catherine, Jamaica and lived for many years in Toronto, Canada and Spring Valley, NY.She served as a mid-wife and nurse during her lifetime.A beautiful wife, mother and grandmother who cared deeply for her family and friends will be missed by many.Services will be on Friday, September 18, 2015 at 11:00 am at Tampa First Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 822 W. Linebaugh Avenue, Tampa, FL.Viewing will begin at 10:00 am. Family will receive friends and guests at the repast immediately following services. Interment at 3:00pm at Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery 11531 US 301, Dade City, FL. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Tampa Adventist Academy in care of Tampa First SDA Church.
