Mrs. Ethel Mary Bendert, 92, of Land O Lakes Fl passed away April 22, 2017. She was born in Chicago, IL and moved here in 1985 coming from Center Line, MI. She served with the U.S. Army during World War II. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Chris. She is survived by her sister, Zelda Sindelar of Chicago; daughter, Christine Gembinski (Richard) of Sterling Heights, MI; sons, Lester Bendert of Orlando, FL, Allan Bendert (Diana) of Clearwater, FL, Scott Bendert (Darlene) of Land O Lakes, FL and Jerry Bendert (Donna) of Rochester, MI. Ethel has 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and their children.
