Parrish, Ethel Ellise, age 80, passed peacefully on July 5, 2015. "Granny" was a kind and loving soul who throughout her life put her loved ones and their needs before her own. She was born in Dade City, Florida in 1934, where she grew up and lived most of her young life. She last worked for the Pasco County Sheriffs Office in Dade City until retirement in 1997. Preceded in death were her parents Laverne and Emory Johnson. Survivors include her daughter Kathy Collier, sons Barry Ryan (wife - Terri) and Jeff Ryan (wife - Ann). Grandchildren Meghan Ryan, Jeremy Ryan and Kevin Lopez. Nieces Annie Lou Murray, Roxanne Ryan Pique, and Nephews Charlie Johnson, Byron Johnson, Emory Johnson, and Ernest Duffy, among other friends, relatives and in-laws. Granny was classic Americana. Bless her heart, she purely will be missed. Private services to be held at a later date.
