Eugene Anthony Broda, Jr. went to dance with the angels on July 27, 2021. He was born September 14, 1959 to Milda and Eugene Broda in Tampa Florida.

Eugene attended Christ the King School and graduated from Tampa Catholic High School in 1978. He continued his education at University of South Florida where he studied computers which led to a job he loved as a Cisco Certified Network instructor at Hillsborough Community College. Before finding his passion for teaching computer science, he worked for Colonial Penn and Prudential Insurance companies where he made many life-long friends. Gene loved his family, friends, animals (especially his rescue dogs), trains, photography, cooking, and all Tampa sports teams. He had a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews, Molly, Hunter, Austin, and Allie. He is survived by his sisters, Kathy Hamrick (Hunter) and Kim Lord (Scott).

Eugene's gentle spirit will be missed by all that knew him. A "Celebration of Life" will be planned for early 2022.
