Ezma Golden Meek, 85, of Tampa passed away April 8, 2005 from complications of Alzheimer's Disease. She was a Tampa resident since 1996 coming from Atlanta, GA, where she retired from Southern Railway after 30 years of service. Mrs. Meek was a member of West Broad Street Baptist Church, Tampa. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Roy Baskin Meek; She is survived by her loving family, two daughters, Dorothy Ann Hughes and Geraldine McCranie, both of Tampa; a sister, Cordie Adams of Jonesboro, GA; three grandchildren, Donna Lynn Bower (Jeff) of Safety Harbor, Dana Susan McCranie & Greg Mitchell Hughes, both of Tampa; five great grandchildren, Matthew and Kelly Ferguson, Katelyn McCranie, Rachel Griffin and Joshua Bower; and several nieces & nephews in the Atlanta area. A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Tuesday at West Broad Street Baptist Church, Dr. Kevin Ahrens will officiate. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service. Further services and burial will be held in Atlanta, GA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association or to your charity of choice.
