MrFelix V. Muniz, Sr., 82, of Tampa passed away on July 28, 2005 in Tampa. Born in Moca, Puerto Rico Aug 10, 1923. Served in WWII and the Korean Conflict. He retired from Wonder Bread Bakery after 28 years. He was preceded in death by his late wife of 45 years, Carmen Crespo Muniz mother of his children, daughter, Mirta Hester, son, Fernando Muniz and son-in-law, Michael McDonough; He is survived by his devoted wife of 14 years, Gliceria Muniz; his children, Olga McDonough, Felix Muniz and wife Rosie, Mildred Castro and husband Rick, Magdalia Pomar and husband Michael, Frank Muniz and wife Terrylynn; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10AM Tuesday at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-9 PM with a Catholic Wake service at 8PM at the chapel of MacDonald Funeral Home.
